Inspired by training on careers in the creative sector and my research interest in theatre, I completed a placement with the Nottingham Puppet Festival. I was a member of the Festival Steering Group and managed a team of around 50 volunteers. I had a terrific time, worked with some extraordinary people (and puppets!) and the experience has given me a platform to pursue a career within arts organisations.
