Thesis title:

Engagement, Learning and Creative Interpretation: The Videogame in the Museum Sector

This research will critically examine the prospective role of video games in the museum and heritage sector, focusing specifically on their potential as tools for interpretation. In particular, the research will focus on exploring how interpretation is understood and variously undertaken within the museum and heritage sector, how video games are suited to act as tools for interpretation, and the ways in which video games can contribute to the museums sector’s development and design of digital tools for interpretation.
